GERB Negotiates
with BwC Party
about Future Government

Sofia, October 17 (BTA) - Minutes before a meeting between the
GERB party and Bulgaria without Censorship (BwC) on Friday,
BwC's Roumen Yonchev told journalists that his party has not
given up the idea about a "clean hands" operation. BwC also
insists on the social actions planned in its own political
programme.

The meeting is part of a series of political consultations which
GERB, in its capacity as the winning party in the October 5
parliamentary elections, is conducting with the other
parliamentary forces.

Yonchev said that his negotiating team has not received GERB's
list of 18 points on which the sides will seek consensus, so BwC
still expects to hear what GERB has to offer.

This is the first time that negotiations on the formation of the
new government are proceeding in a transparent, consistent and
organized manner, Yonchev said.

He noted that it is up to the mandate-holder to invite BwC into
the government or not. But GERB has not yet received a mandate
from President Rosen Plevneliev, he added. LI/VE
