After Louvre, "Saga of Thracian Kings" to be Displayed in Sofia's Newest Gallery, Square 500

Sofia, April 22 (BTA) - After the Louvre where it is currently
on display, the major Bulgarian exhibition "The Saga of the
Thracian Kings: Archaeological Discoveries in Bulgaria" is to be
displayed in Sofia's newest gallery, Square 500, the Culture
Ministry said in a press release.

The idea came from Culture Minister Vezhdi Rashidov who argued
that the exhibition of Thracian treasures should be shown in the
Bulgarian cities whose museums took an active part in its
preparation. Rashidov said the exhibition certainly must be
displayed in Plovdiv, Southern Bulgaria, which is the European
Capital of Culture in 2019.

Meanwhile, invitations to host the impressive exhibition
continue to arrive from many countries, among them Japan,
Croatia, Turkey, Morocco. The Moscow Kremlin Museum and the
British Museum too have expressed interest to host the
exhibition.
