Deputy PM Kalfin Elected
to Head National Social Security Institute's
Supervisory Board


Sofia, April 24 (BTA) - The National Social Security Institute
(NSSI) elected new leadership of its Supervisory Board, the
institute said Friday. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of
Labour and Social Policy Ivaylo Kalfin is the new Supervisory
Board Chair. His deputies will be Asya Goneva of the
Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria and Stefan
Vassilev of the Bulgarian Industrial Capital Association.

According to the Social Insurance Code, the chairmanship of the
NSSI Supervisory Board rotates each year between the Executive,
employers and trade unions. Dimiter Manolov of the Podkrepa
Confederation of Labour headed the Supervisory Board in the past
year, the NSSI recalled. LI/MY
