Group to Perform
in Bulgaria


Sofia, April 27 (BTA) - Argentine virtuoso jazz and classical
pianist Mario Parmisano, best known for his work with Al Di
Meola since 1993, will visit Bulgaria for the first time for the
season's last concert of the American Music series. Parmisano
and the Classic FM Radio orchestra will give a concert at
Bulgaria Hall on May 13, the organisers said.

Parmisano will present a tribute to tango master Astor
Piazzolla, specially arranged for piano and orchestra.

The concert will be held under the baton of Francisco Noya who
won the hearts of the Bulgarian audience in 2013, again with
Classic FM Orchestra.

The first part of the concert will feature popular jazz pieces
like In the Mood and Moonlight Serenade, Sing Sing Sing and
Begin the Beguin, as well as a new arrangement of Blue Rondo a
la Turk.

The American Music cycle is organized by the Cantus Firmus
agency and the America for Bulgaria Foundation./BR
