Labour Minister Presents Country's Progress in Fight against Undeclared Work

Dubrovnik/Sofia, April 28 (BTA) - "Promotion of regulated labour
 relations between Bulgaria and other EU and non-EU countries is
 a priority of the Government. We have been developing
cooperation with separate countries both regarding the
regulation of labour mobility, declaring of temporary employment
 and opening of new regulated jobs," Deputy Prime Minister and
Minister of Labour and Social Policy Ivailo Kalfin said during
the second day of the EU summit on undeclared work, Kalfin's
Ministry said.

The meeting is organized by the European Commission in
Dubrovnik. Participating are representatives of 24 countries,
including ministers of labour. Minister Kalfin presented this
country's progress regarding the fight against undeclared work.

In his statement Kalfin underscored the significance of
Bulgaria's participation in joint projects with other countries
to increase youth employment and encourage the opening of new
jobs. Kalfin stressed that the country is in the course of
reaching an agreement on new projects on undeclared work with
the countries of the Danube region.
