Bulgarian Ambassador in Iran Requests Official Information about Detained Ship

Sofia, April 29 (BTA) - Bulgarian Ambassador in Iraq has
requested official information from the Iranian authorities on
the case with the grounded ship that would provide details about
the detention and confirm the nationality of the crew members.
He also inquired about the whereabouts of the crew, BTA learnt
from the Foreign Ministry press centre.

Earlier in the day, media reported that the Iranian Navy
detained a cargo ship with a Bulgarian captain and crew members
from Bulgaria, Romania, United Kingdom and Myanmar. According to
the world news agencies, the Marshall Islands-flagged vessel
was detained due to unsettled payments by the ship owner.
