Bulgaria Provides Humanitarian Aid to Victims of Nepal Earthquake

Sofia, May 7 (BTA) - Bulgaria will provide 40,000 US dollars in
humanitarian aid to children and their families who suffered in
the devastating earthquake in Nepal, the Foreign Ministry said.

The donation is an expression of Bulgaria's solidarity and
commitment to the international efforts to overcome the
consequences of the one of the most devastating natural
disasters in recent times. The donation is only a small part of
the efforts of Bulgaria and of the general public in this
country to aid the victims of the earthquake by voluntary
donations to international humanitarian organizations.

The aid will be made available through UNICEF. It comes from the
outlays for development and humanitarian aid in the budget of
the Foreign Ministry.
