Bulgaria Named Most Impressive Borrower in
Central & Eastern Europe in GlobalCapital's Annual Emerging
Market Bond Awards 2015

Sofia, May 21 (BTA) - Bulgaria has been named the Most
Impressive Borrower in Central & Eastern Europe in
GlobalCapital's annual Emerging Market Bond Awards 2015, the
Finance Ministry said on Thursday.

The prestigious award was received by Deputy Finance Minister
Karina Karaivanova at GlobalCapital's ninth annual Bond Dinner
on Wednesday night at the Guildhall in the City of London.
Bulgaria won the high distinction for the successful issue at
the best possible market conditions of a 3.1 billion euro
triple-tranche bond in seven-, twelve- and twenty-year
maturities in March. The interest coupon rates were the lowest
achieved thus far by Bulgaria on the international debt capital
markets. Bulgaria succeeded in attracting an exceptionally
varied and very well diversified basis of investors for the
three issues.

The GlobalCapital awards are determined entirely by a poll of
market participants, and distinguish the outstanding issuers,
funding officials, investment banks, bankers and rating agencies
in the emerging markets between May 2014 and April 2015. LY
