Former MP of Movement for Rights and Freedoms Given Four Years in Prison

Sofia, June 3 (BTA) - Mithat Tabakov, a former MP of the
Movement for Rights and Freedoms, was given a four-year
custodial sentence by the Sofia City Court on Tuesday for
serious documentary fraud to the amount of 90,000 leva. The
sentence is appealable.

The crime was committed in May 2005 during construction and
assembly works.

The other defendant, Gyunai Sefer, was acquitted.
