Bulgarian Pavilion Opens in Hangzhou Cross-Border  E-Commerce Pilot Zone

Hangzhou/Sofia, October 27 (BTA) - A Bulgarian pavilion has been
opened in the Hangzhou Cross-Border E-Commerce Pilot Zone in
China, the Agriculture and Food Ministry said in a press release
 on Tuesday.

Deputy Agriculture and Food Minister Vassil Groudev spoke at the
opening ceremony stressing the importance of the further
development of the cooperation between Bulgaria and China in
farming and food making. "I hope that more people of this
Chinese city will be able to taste Bulgarian farm products. The
pavilion marks a good start," Groudev said.

This is the first pavilion opened as part of the work of the
Centre for Promotion of the Cooperation in Agriculture between
China and CEE Countries. Groudev expressed a hope that the other
16 CEE countries will also open their national pavilions, in
the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone.

Li Bin, Director of Hangzhoud E-Road E-Commerce, said that the
Bulgarian pavilion is a bridge of cooperation between the two
countries and a window to the Bulgarian products.

As the next step, cooperation is to be developed by the
provision of financial, logistic services and business standards
in the duty-free zone for cross-border e-commerce. Bulgaria
plans to build a logistics hub in the Black Sea port city of
Bourgas for exports to China.

Groudev also visited the duty-free warehouses where he was
familiarized with the ways of packing and distribution of
foreign goods in China.
