Washington, November 18 (BTA) - Bulgarian Justice Minister Tsetska Tsacheva had a working meeting with US Attorney General Jefferson Sessions in Washington, Tsacheva's ministry reported.
On the second day of her visit to the US capital, Tsacheva updated Sessions on one of the main priorities of the Bulgarian Justice Ministry for the upcoming Bulgarian Presidency of the EU Council - the institutionalization of the European Public Prosecutor's Office.
She said: "Being one of the initiators for the establishment of the European Public Prosecutor's Office, Bulgaria will give priority to the institutionalization and functioning of the Office and the building of relationships with partner institutions and services such as Eurojust, Europol and OLAF."
Sessions received with interest Tsacheva's invitation to attend a March 2018 conference in Sofia which will discuss the institutionalization of the European Public Prosecutor's Office.
