site.btaBTA Signs Cooperation Programme with Jordan's Petra News Agency

Amman, November 23 (BTA) - The Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) and Jordan's Petra News Agency have signed a cooperation programme for sharing news and expertise. The document was signed by the two agencies' directors general Maxim Minchev and Faisal Al Shboul in Amman on Thursday in the presence of Jordan's Consul in Bulgaria Hassan Al Otoum.

The programme stipulates that the two news agencies will exchange photographs, videos and news and will provide all necessary facilities for their correspondents when covering events and visits by officials from one country to the other, Petra reported.

In remarks during the signing ceremony, Al Shboul said Petra is proud to cooperate with BTA, pointing in this regard to the friendly ties and cooperation between Jordan and Bulgaria in various fields.

For his part, Minchev highlighted the importance of cooperation among news agencies in light of the major progress that has been achieved in journalism.
