Sofia, February 24 (BTA) - In connection with the severe winter situation and the expected deterioration of weather conditions in Croatia, Slovenia, Macedonia, Romania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Serbia, the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry advises Bulgarian citizens to postpone their travel plans until the situation normalizes, the Ministry said in a press release on Saturday.

If travel is essential, Bulgarians are advised to follow strictly local authorities' instructions. If snowbound, travellers should notify their close ones about their condition and whereabouts, should indicate their location in the social networks, and should alert the Foreign Ministry's Situation Centre on its round-the-clock helpline 00359 2 948 2404 or at its e-mail, crisis@mfa.bg
