Sofia, February 28 (BTA) - The Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) is set on a course towards power-sharing, it emerged Tuesday evening after a nearly 5-hour-long joint meeting of the opposition party's Central Operative Bureau and parliamentary group with MRF Honorary Chairman Ahmed Dogan in Boyana.

MRF leader Mustafa Karadayi specified that "preparing to enter the country's government" is an idea behind a seminar on open government, which his party will organize on March 5.

Asked whether and when they will press for early elections, MRF leader Mustafa Karadayi said: "We have not yet said anything like that. We are working for, and contributing to, the stability of the State. Certain people are trying to identify this with stability of the government. Stability of the government is part of the stability of the State, but they are not identical."

He said, though, that over the last two months the powerholders have been incessantly generating various scandals, even conflicts, between the institutions, and this is a cause for concern regarding the country's stability and gives rise to tensions in society.

The MRF reserves judgment on the CEZ Bulgaria sale scandal until the competent State bodies have pronounced on the matter. Karadayi was also reluctant to comment on the related resignation of Energy Minister Temenouzhka Petkova. On his way to the meeting, though, MRF MP Hamid Hamid said only that Ginka Vurbakova (the owner of Inercom Bulgaria which has acquired the electricity distributor) is not a reliable investor and there are other reasons why the government is shaken.
