site.btaPrime Minister Borissov Presents Bulgaria's Investment Opportunities to Qatari Delegation

Sofia, March 19 (BTA) - Prime Minister Boyko Borissov held a meeting with a Qatari delegation led by Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Ali Al-Thani and including representatives of the Qatar Investment Authority, the government's information service said in a press release on Monday. The meeting is a follow-up on the talks Borissov had with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, at the start of March in Sofia.

Monday's talks focused on Bulgarian business projects where Qatar has an interest to invest, the potential for cooperation in infrastructure projects, investments in mineral and spring water facilities and spa centres.

Regional Development and Public Works Minister Nikolai Nankov, Economy Minister Emil Karanikolov and the mayors of Bourgas and Stara Zagora, Southern Bulgaria, took part in the talks.
