Glitch Shuts Down Commercial Register,

Sofia, August 13 (BTA) - The Justice Ministry has alerted the prosecution service, the State Agency for National Security and the Interior Ministry of a glitch which had shut down the Commercial Register and the register of NGOs, the Justice Ministry's Registry Agency said Sunday.

The first official announcement of a technical problem with the Commercial Register was made on Friday. According to some media reports, the register has been inoperable for five days now.

An emergency plan has been activated for restoring the full functionality of the registers, the Registry Agency said. Emergency teams are working round-the-clock to fix the problem.

All other registers of the Registry Agency are operating as usual. LN/
