Sofia, September 4 (BTA) - The Bulgarian National Assembly is back to work after its summer recess. The new session was opened Tuesday to the sound of the national anthem and the anthem of the European Union.

The political groups are now expected to read declarations about their plans for the new political season.

The agenda on the first day also includes debates on revisions to the Health Act, approval for three annual reports (of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and the communications regulator), and ratification of an agreement with Saudi Arabia on avoidance of double taxation and prevention of tax evasion.
