Sofia, October 8 (BTA) - Political and civic organizations joined the Zaedno [Together] political movement by signing an agreement on unity of action at the BTA National Press Club on Monday. The signatories are the Nova Sila [New Force] party, the Christian Social Union, the Bulgarian Social Democracy - Euro-Left party, the DEN [Day] party, and the European Association for Human Rights Protection in Bulgaria.

The Zaedno movement's goal is to run jointly in the next European Parliament, local and general elections, change the political status quo in Bulgaria, and achieve a new parliamentary majority. The formation strives to unite as many non-parliamentary represented parties and civic oganizations as possible, BSD - Euro-Left leader Alexander Tomov said.

At noon on October 10, the political forces will stage a protest against the Government of Boyko Borissov in downtown Sofia. The Zaedno movement proposes the organization of a national congress on Bulgarian unity on February 22, 2019, aimed at overcoming the divisions in Bulgarian society, Tomov also said.
