Riyadh/Sofia, October 10 (BTA) - Bulgaria's Tourism Minister Nikolina Angelkova conferred with Saudi Arabia's Deputy Finance Minister Hamad bin Suleiman Al-Bazai, Angelkova's Ministry reported on Wednesday. Angelkova is on a working visit to Saudi Arabia at the invitation of His Royal Highness, Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who chairs the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage.

Angelkova and Hamad bin Suleiman Al-Bazai discussed opportunities for expanding the bilateral cooperation in tourism and investment.

The Saudi Deputy Finance Minister said that that the bilateral relations in business and finance have serious potential. He said that tourism is a structure-determining sector in any economy and that Bulgaria is doing very well in it.

Hamad bin Suleiman Al-Bazai said that the partnership between Bulgaria and Saudi Arabia will yield very good results, which will aid the signing of more cooperation memoranda in the different sectors, which in turn will trigger new investments. RY/ZH
