Sofia, October 25 (BTA) - Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev will replace Deputy Prime Minister Valeri Simeonov as Chair of the National Council for Cooperation on Ethnic and Integration Issues (NCCEII), the government press office reported on Thursday.

The government made the decision in absentia on a proposal by Prime Minister Boyko Borissov.

The NCCEII assists the cabinet in formulating and implementing the government policy on ethnic and integration issues. It monitors the implementation of the National Roma Inclusion Strategy 2012-2020 and other programmes of government agencies in the field of interethnic relations and minority rights. LI/VE
