site.btaDeputy PM Nikolova Presents in China Investment Opportunities in Bulgaria

November 5 (BTA) - Deputy Prime Minister in
charge of economic and demographic policy Mariyana Nikolova
attended the official opening of the 2nd China International
Import Expo in Shanghai, during which Chinese President Xi
Jinping delivered a welcome speech, the Government Information
Service reported on Tuesday.

The event was also attended by French President Emmanuel Macron,
 Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, and Serbian Prime
Minister Ana Brnabic.

Nikolova said during her speech that the Bulgarian Government's
economic and investment policy is aimed at ensuring that
potential investors requirements are met concerning the
investment climate, stability and predictability of the
environment.

The Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister also conferred with the
Governor of the southeastern Chinese Province of Jiangxi, Yi
Lianhong. The two discussed the opportunities for developing
bilateral trade. Nikolova noted that there is untapped potential
 for increasing the volume and scope of Bulgarian exports. She
stressed on the Bulgarian wines and food products. Governor Yi
Lianhong expressed desire to increase the import of Bulgarian
