site.bta9,786 PCR Tests Confirm 3,983 New COVID-19 Cases, Bringing Bulgaria's Total to 118,418

Sofia, November 21 (BTA) - A total of 3,983 COVID-19 infections
were confirmed in past 24 hours through 9,786 PCR tests,
according to data posted on www.coronavirus.bg on Saturday. The
positivity rate is 40.7 per cent. The total number of tests done
 since March is 906,207.

Out of a total of 118,418 cases of coronavirus confirmed, 81,252
 are active.

The largest number of new cases are in the capital Sofia
(1,031), followed by Plovdiv (409) and Stara Zagora (315).

A total of 5,942 patients are hospitalized, including 383 in
intensive care.

In the past 24 hours, 129 people died, bringing the total number
 of fatalities to 2,778.

Recoveries in the past 24 hours number 1,061, bringing the total
 to 34,388.
