COVID-19 Update: 3,586 New Infections and 39% Positivity Rate in Bulgaria on Friday

Sofia, November 27 (BTA) - A total of 3,568 coronavirus infections were confirmed in the 24 hours before midnight on November 27 through 9,093 PCR tests, bringing Bulgaria's total to 136,628 cases, out of 950,354 PCR tests performed since the start of the epidemic, according to data posted on www.coronavirus.bg on Friday. The test positivity rate stands at about 39 per cent.

The active cases are 88,224. Currently, the hospitalized patients number 6,655, including 430 in intensive care.

Recoveries in the last 24 hours number 2,255, bringing the total to 44,875.

A total of 162 new fatalities were reported, bringing the total death toll to 3,529. LN/ZH
