site.btaNew Cases Number 3,980 with 3,412 Recoveries over Past 24 Hours

December 9 (BTA) - There were 3,980 new cases of COVID-19
 in Bulgaria out of 9,715 PCR tests over the past 24 hours,
coronavirus.bg informed on Wednesday morning. The positivity
rate was 40.97 per cent. As of December 9, a total of 1,032,782
PCR tests have been used in Bulgaria. The total number of
confirmed cases reached 168,165, and 93,981 of them are
currently active. Hospitals are currently treating 6,839 cases,
of whom 514 people are in intensive care units. The number of
recoveries rose by 3,412 since yesterday, reaching a total of
69,028. With 146 new fatalities, Bulgaria's death toll to
COVID-19 reached 5,156.
