site.bta8,470 PCR Tests Confirm 3,075 New COVID-19 Cases, Bringing Bulgaria's Total to 174,568

December 11 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19
cases in Bulgaria reached 174,568 after 8,470 PCR tests
identified 3,075 new infections in the 24 hours until Thursday
midnight, according to data posted on www.coronavirus.bg. The
test positivity rate now stands at 36 per cent.

A total of 1,049,830 PCR tests have been done since the first
infections were diagnosed on March 8.

The active cases are 93,931. Currently, the hospitalized
patients number 7,084, including 542 in intensive care.

The  newly diagnosed health workers are 174, bringing total
infections among them to 7,619.

Another 3,154 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the last 24
hours, bringing the total to 75,232.

One hundred and twenty-two more fatalities were reported on
Thursday, bringing the death toll to 5,405. NV/LG
