COVID-19 Update: 1,287 New Cases in Bulgaria
on Sunday and 29%

Sofia, December 13 (BTA) - Over the past 24 hours a total of 1,287 new cases of COVID-19 were registered out of 4,407 PCR tests, which makes a positivity rate of 29 per cent, according to www.coronavirus.bg on Sunday.

With 64 new fatalities, the death toll reached 5,626.

The number of confirmed cases in Bulgaria reached 178,952 out of 1,062,824 PCR tests administered.

The number of active cases continues to drop and now stands at 91,569. With 2,235 new recoveries since yesterday, their total number reached 81,757.

Hospitals are currently treating 7,224 patients, including 595 in intensive care units.
