site.bta1,959 New Cases in Bulgaria on Thursday, 191 Fatalities

Sofia, December 17 (BTA) Over the past 24 hours, Bulgaria
registered 1,959 new cases of COVID-19 out of 6,113 PCR tests,
according to www.coronavirus.bg on Thursday morning. The
positivity rate was 32.05 per cent. The total number of cases in
 Bulgaria reached 186,246 confirmed in 1,083,606 PCR tests.

There are currently 89,540 active cases. With 191 fatalities
over the past 24 hours, Bulgaria's death toll reached 6,196.

The number of recoveries rose by 2,575 since yesterday, reaching
 a total of 90,510.

Hospitals are treating 7,034 people of whom 570 are in intensive
 care units.
