site.btaCOVID-19 Update: 535 New Cases in 24 Hours

January 15 (BTA) - There were 535 new COVID-19 cases out
of 7,439 tests
in the 24 hours until Friday midnight, according to data posted
on the national coronavirus portal. The test positivity rate is
7.19 per cent.

The active cases number 52,185.

Some 3.631 patients have been hospitalized, with 343 in
intensive care

There were 47 fatalities in the past 24 hours.

Recoveries totalled 6,728 and 648 people were vaccinated. RY/PP
