site.bta1,962 Tests Confirm 130 New COVID-19 Cases, Bringing Bulgaria's Total to 218,748

Sofia, February 1 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases
 in Bulgaria reached 218,748 after 1,962 PCR and antigen tests
identified 130 new infections in the 24 hours until Monday
midnight, according to data posted on www.coronavirus.bg. The
test positivity rate now stands at 6.63 per cent.

Sofia City Region tops the list of new cases with 46 positive
tests, followed by  Blagoevgrad Region with 18 and Bourgas
Region with 14.

The active cases are 22,651. Currently, the hospitalized
patients number 2,886, including 264 in intensive care.

Another 1,449 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the last 24
hours, bringing the total to 187,052.

Seventeen fatalities were reported, and the death toll now
totals 9,045.

With 105 new vaccinations over the last 24 hours, 41,125 persons
 have been vaccinated in aggregate, of whom 13,084 have received
