Sofia, July 9 (BTA) - The implementation of the priority
projects of the Three Seas Initiative will dramatically change
the situation in the sustainable development of the region and
Europe as a whole, Bulgarian President Rumen Radev said in his
opening address at the Sixth Summit of the Three Seas Initiative
in Sofia on Friday. "The constant development of those
projects, of which there are 90 in 2021, is a sign of the level
of our ambitions," he said.

"We highly appreciate the support of our strategic partners: the
United States, Germany and the European Commission," said
Radev.

He also said: "It is very good for businesses and individuals to
see that the political leadership, the state bodies, agencies,
multilaterals, development banks, chambers of commerce and
industry, and business associations are getting together for an
open discussion of all the important matters. This means that
our Initiative keeps generating ideas and guidelines to boost
development, improve digital, transport and energy connectivity,
and initiate a strategic debate on the region's future. The
Sofia Summit is one more proof that this Initiative is doing
very well as a unique instrument which taps the energy of
cooperation that strengthens our capacity to develop friendly
relations and to generate progress and values."
