July 11 (BTA) - Voter turnout in Sunday's early
parliamentary elections in Bulgaria was 27.2 per cent as at 4
p.m., Central Election Commission Spokesperson Kamelia Neikova
said. By comparison, turnout in the latest regular parliamentary
 elections on April 4 was 40 per cent as at 5 p.m.

At the July 11 elections, the highest turnout by 4 p.m. was
reported in Smolyan, at 33.14 per cent, and the lowest in
Kardjali, at 20.61 per cent. RY/VE
