site.btaFinance Minister Beltchev Confers with EBRD Representatives

October 12 (BTA) - Finance Minister Valery Beltchev met
with Charlotte Ruhe, Director for Central and South Eastern
Europe at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development
(EBRD) and EBRD Director for Bulgaria Anca Ionescu, the Finance
Ministry said on Tuesday.

During the meeting the EBRD officials presented the bank's
plans, opportunities for technical assistance and funding of
projects under the country's National Recovery and Resilience
Plan.

Minster Beltchev vowed that Bulgaria will continue its
cooperation with the EBRD.

The bank is of one the larger investors in Bulgaria and has
extended over 4 billion euro in funding for 269 projects.
Investments in the private sector account for 54 per cent of the
 bank's portfolio in Bulgaria. RY/PP
