Three New Issues of Bulgarian Bonds Most Traded Euro-denominated Government Bonds on Secondary Market

Sofia, April 8 (BTA) - The new three issues of government bonds
in Bulgaria's Global Medium Term Note (GMTN) programme perform
extremely well on the secondary market, the Finance Ministry
said on Wednesday.

According to data from Bloomberg Fixed Income Trading Active
Bonds, the issues are the most traded euro-denominated
government bonds volume-wise on the international capital
markets from March 19, 2015, when subscription for the bonds
started, until April 7. The good performance of the newly issued
bonds shows the investors' confidence in the public finance
policy of the Bulgarian government.

An indication of the successfully placed triple issue is the
fact that on March 24 Fitch assigned a rating of BBB to the
three issues, a degree higher than Bulgaria's sovereign rating
of BBB-. The ratings to the bonds assigned by Moody's and
Standard and Poor's are the same as the agencies' sovereign
ratings of Bulgaria.
