Sofia, April 8 (BTA) - The Ministry of Economy Wednesday hosted
the signing of an European Cooperating States Agreement between
the government of Bulgaria and the European Space Agency. The
document was signed by the Minister of Economy, Bozhidar
Loukarski, and Eric Morel de Westgaver, representative of the
European Space Agency (ESA).

BulgariaТs joining ESA will provide Bulgarian SMEs and research
organisations with access to R&D of high-tech product and
services projects and services, and will promote new jobs in the
country, the participants in the signing ceremony said.

The signing was attended by BulgariaТs first astronaut, Georgi
