Socialist to Carefully Consider Grounds for Possible Vote of No Confidence in Cabinet over
Policy in Healthcare
Sofia, April 9 (BTA) - The parliamentary group of the left-wing
Bulgarian Socialist Party-Left Bulgaria will carefully consider
the grounds for a possible vote of no confidence in the
government over the policy in healthcare, Socialist deputy floor
leader Atanas Merdjanov said in Parliament. Merdjanov commented
a warning of the centrist Movement for Rights and Freedoms that
the first no confidence motion against the incumbents may be
over their healthcare policy.
Merdjanov said that after a careful discussion, the Socialists
will decide whether to support a sign-in for moving a motion of
no confidence and how they will participate in it.
Merdjanov said that enough time has passed to assess the work of
the team of Health Minister Peter Moskov, what has been
achieved, what has been disappointing, what is planned.
Following a snap general election on October 5, the Boyko
Borissov government was approved by Parliament on November 7.
