Movement for Rights and Freedoms Warns that First No-confidence Vote May Be against Government's Health policy

Sofia, April 9 (BTA) - The Movement for Rights and Freedoms
(MRF) warned that the first no-confidence vote against the second government of Prime
Minister Boyko Borissov may be themed around the government's
health policy. The party may consider such a no-confidence
motion after the second reading of amendments to the Health
Insurance Act proposed by Health Minister Peter Moskov, said
Touncher Kurdjaliev MP. MRF proposed corrections to the
amendments which have been approved on first reading. According
to Kurdjaliev, the amendments moved by the Council of Ministers
amount to nothing more than restrictions and limitations. They
contain lobbyist provisions which would benefit some health
insurance funds, he said.

The parliamentary group of the left-wing
Bulgarian Socialist Party-Left Bulgaria will carefully consider
the grounds for a possible vote of no confidence in the
government over the policy in healthcare, Socialist deputy floor
leader Atanas Merdjanov said in Parliament, commenting MRF's
position.

Merdjanov said that after a careful discussion, the Socialists
will decide whether to support a sign-in for moving a motion of
no confidence and how they will participate in it.

Merdjanov said that enough time has passed to assess the work of
the team of Health Minister Peter Moskov, what has been
achieved, what has been disappointing, what is planned.

Following a snap general election on October 5, the Boyko
Borissov government was approved by Parliament on November 7.
