Finance Ministry Transfers State Subsidy to All Political Parties Eligible for Payment

Sofia, April 29 (BTA) - The Finance Ministry said Wednesday that
in pursuance of the Political Parties Act it has transferred
the first quarter portion for 2015 of the state subsidy to
political parties to all parties eligible for it. The Bulgaria
without Censorship party too has been transferred the subsidy.

The National Audit Office had sent a letter notifying the
Finance Minister that as a result of exchanged correspondence
and meetings with the Bulgaria without Censorship party, the
National Audit Office has determined that the party has duly
filed its 2014 annual financial statement so that all legal
requirements for transfer of the state subsidy to the party have
been fulfilled.

Bulgaria without Censorship leader Nikolai Barekov told
reporters a week a go that attempts were made to leave the party
without a subsidy, despite the timely submittal thereby of all
legally required documents.
