Consolidated Fiscal Programme Surplus in May Totals 1,091.1 Million Leva
Sofia, July 1 (BTA) - According to first level spending units'
monthly reports, as at the end of May 2015 there was a surplus
of 1,091.1 million leva (1.3 per cent of the projected GDP) in
the consolidated fiscal programme (CFP), the Finance Ministry
said.
Consolidated revenues and grants under CFP as at 31.05.2015
stood at 13,818.6 million leva, or 45.5 per cent of the budget
target for 2015. Tax revenue grew by 847.9 million leva (9 per
cent), non-tax revenue increased by 178.3 million leva (11.3 per
cent), and grants increased by 1,016.3 million leva (133.4 per
cent).
The total amount of tax revenue (including health insurance
payments) stood at 10,283.9 million leva, which accounts for
42.8 per cent of the annual revenues target.
CFP expenditure (including Bulgaria's contribution to the budget
of the EU) stood at 12,727.5 million leva, or 38.8 per cent of
the annual target. Non-tax expenditure totalled 10,512.0 million
leva, or 41.7 per cent of the annual target. Capital outlays
(including the net growth of government reserves) amounted to
1,471.6 million leva, or 27.3 per cent of the target. Tax
expenditure stood at 293.0 million leva, or 33.6 per cent of the
target.
The fiscal reserve amounted to 11.1 billion leva.
