Patriotic Front to Confirm or Not Participation in Governing Majority by Friday

Sofia, July 1 (BTA) - The Patriotic Front (PF) will announce its
decision whether it will remain part of the governing majority
by Friday, PF Floor Leader Valeri Simeonov told journalists in
the National Assembly Wednesday.

The move was prompted by the fact that the deadline PF had given
its partners to fulfil their requests expired on June 30.

Additional talks with the floor leaders of GERB and the
Reformist Bloc, as well as with Prime Minister Borissov, are
required, Simeonov explained. "You want to make us look as if we
are flip-flopping in our commitments, but that is not so. Be so
good as to wait and you will get an answer by Friday," Simeonov
told the media in Parliament.

Some of the most important conditions of the PF to continue to
be part of the parliamentary majority include concrete measures
in the fight against crime, changes in election rules, as well
as no raising of electricity prices.
