Brussels, November 7 (BTA) - The Bulgarian Chief of Defence, Lieutenant General Andrei Botsev, conferred here with the Chairman of the European Union Military Committee (CEUMC), General Mikhail Kostarakos, the Defence Ministry said Tuesday.

The meeting was held in the Belgian capital where the two generals participated in the autumn session of EU chiefs of defence, the highest military body of the European Union. The forum is held on November 6 and 7.

The sides discussed Bulgaria's priorities in defence during its forthcoming Presidency of the Council of EU in the first half of 2018. The two sides concurred that the priorities outlined by Bulgaria correspond with those of the EU Military Committee.
