site.btaPrime Ministers Borissov, Gentiloni Give Excellent Marks to Bulgarian-Italian Relations

Rome, November 14 (BTA) - Prime Ministers Boyko Borissov of Italy and Paolo Gentiloni of Italy gave excellent marks to bilateral political and economic relations, the Government Information Service said on Tuesday.

Borissov is paying a one-day working visit to Italy.

"Your country offers a great potential for investment," the host said at the start of the talks.

The two heads of government are discussing the problem with migrants in Europe and the need of greater solidarity with the front-line Member States that come under the strongest migration pressure.

The forthcoming Bulgarian Presidency of the EU Council is also high on the agenda. In Gentiloni's words, it is a chance to achieve progress on the subject of the European integration of the Western Balkans.
