Sofia, November 15 (BTA) - Ensuring equal access to medicines for all citizens of the EU is a priority for both Bulgaria and the Netherlands, said the two countries' prime ministers, Boyko Borissov and Mark Rutte, the Government Information Service reported Wednesday.

They discussed over the phone their national medicines agencies's next joint steps in this direction. The two prime ministers agreed that the timely provision of medicinal products is life-saving and that they as PMs should make certain that this topic is approached responsibly at the highest level and maximum efforts are made.

Borissov and Rutte will continue their talks in this area within the framework of the Gothenburg Social Summit on November 17, the Government Information Service said.
