Sofia, February 11 (BTA) - Bulgarian President has sent condolences to Russian President Vladimir Putin in connection with a plane crash near Moscow in which dozens of lives were lost, the head of State's Press Secretariat said on Sunday.

A Russian Saratov Airlines An-148 65 passenger plane crashed outside Moscow after take-off on Sunday, apparently killing all 65 passengers and six crew members on board.

Radev expresses profound sympathy to the bereaved families.

In a cable to his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev, Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov expressed the Bulgarian Government's and his own sincere condolences to all who lost close ones in the plane crash.

The Bulgarian Foreign Ministry said in a press release that there are no reports of any Bulgarian citizens having been hurt in the incident. "No Bulgarian nationals have approached the Bulgarian diplomatic mission for assistance so far," the Ministry said.
