Sofia, February 15 (BTA) - According to preliminary data released by the National Statistical Institute on Thursday, the monthly inflation for January 2018 compared to December 2017 was 0.3 per cent. The annual inflation for January 2018 compared to January 2017 was 1.8 per cent.

The annual average inflation, measured by the consumer price index, in the period from February 2017 to January 2018 compared to the previous 12 months (February 2016 - January 2017), was 2.1 per cent.
