Sofia, February 17 (BTA) - No data have been received thus far of victims or serious damage in the 7.2-magnitude earthquake that hit Oaxaca State, Mexico, on February 16, the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry said Saturday.

There is information only about a collapsed building, which was seriously damaged by the earthquake on September 19, 2017.

Bulgarian nationals can receive current information about the situation in Mexico or submit information about their relatives on the following phone numbers: +52 55 55963283 and (+521) 55 79071517, the press release reads.

The Mexican authorities have activated earthquake alert systems in five states, and the Bulgarian Embassy in the country will follow and inform about any development of the situation. Information can also be obtained from the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry.
