A typeface, specially created for the Bulgarian News Agency (BTA), will be unveiled at an event at the BTA National Press Club in Sofia on Friday.

The font, developed by the National Academy of Art, is based on the Cyrillic alphabet system, preserving the tradition of the disciples of Cyril and Methodius. All printed and digital texts, documents, and materials from BTA will now have a consistent look.

The event will be attended by National Academy of Art Rector Georgi Iankov, BTA Director General Kiril Valchev, and the President of the Patent Office of the Republic of Bulgaria, Olya Dimitrova, among others.
