A team of archeologists conducting excavations at the site of a Thracian warrior's tomb in the village of Kapitan Petko Voyvoda found new golden treasures on Monday, Daniela Agre from the National Archaeological Institute with Museum at Bulgarian Academy of Sciences said.
After discovering a gold necklace and other valuable and unique archaeological artefacts on August 22, the team of archaeologists led by Agre has found a massive gold male bracelet. Presumably, the jewelry is a set. According to the archaeologist, it's from the late Hellenistic Period.
All the objects found so far are being taken out from the grave, inventoried with the assistance of restorer Georgi Iliev's team, in order to be taken to restoration studios.
