site.btaBulgarian Red Cross Delivers Humanitarian Aid to Taraclia Region
The Bulgarian Red Cross (BRC) has handed over a humanitarian aid grant to medical facilities in the Taraclia region of Moldova, where the population is predominantly Bulgarian. According to information from the press service of the district administration, on Thursday a truck of the BRC brought 200 new sets of bed linen, pillows and warm blankets worth about BGN 12,000 (EUR 6,000).
The humanitarian aid was unloaded at the District Council and will be transported to the hospital and health centres in the towns of Taraclia and Tvarditsa, and the villages of Valia Perzei, Korten, and Vinogradovka.
The donation is the result of cooperation and repeated meetings of the chairman of the district Ivan Paslar with the representatives of the Bulgarian Red Cross, the local government noted, and expressed gratitude to the BRC for its assistance.
