site.btaBulgarian Winemakers Exhibit at Germany's ProWein Trade Fair
Twenty-six Bulgarian winemakers are exhibiting at the ProWein international trade fair in Dusseldorf, the Agriculture and Food Ministry said. On an area of 202 square metres, the Bulgarian stand, organized by the Ministry, promotes wines some of which are on the European register of protected designations of origin and protected geographical indications.
More than 5,700 exhibitors from 60 countries present their products. Over 50,000 professionals are expected to visit the fair.
The forum is attended by Valya Petrova, head of Agriculture Minister Kiril Vatev's political cabinet, and Krasimir Koev, head of the Executive Agency on Vine and Wine. The exhibitors will hold meetings with wine merchants.
