Vazrazhdane raised its poll result by 10%, from 295,000 to gathering 325,000 votes, party leader Kostadin Kostadinov wrote on Facebook in a recap of the October 27 snap parliamentary elections.
Kostadinov wrote that his party became third political power in Parliament for a second time in 2024. He said that Vazrazhdane has finished second in 15 regions across Bulgaria. According to Kostadinov, his party is in fact finished second, for he says that Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria has surpassed Vazrazhdane only in Sofia and Plovdiv.
Kostadinov thanked voters, who had once again given their trust to Vazrazhdane. "For you we work, for you we fight!", he noted.
According to the leader of Vazrazhdane, the voter turnout has increased by 250,000 votes, which, according to him are due to vote buying.
"End result - there will be a government, as we have been saying throughout the campaign. Not because voters are tired, but because their elected representatives have run out of money to buy them and it is time to form a coalition to win new funds from the [state] budget. For now it seems that only Vazrazhdane will not participate in this looting of the state", Kostadinov said.
The party gathered the support of a total of 325,468 voters or 13.358%, according to the latest Central Election Commission (CEC) data.
